Whiteboard Animation

This whiteboard animation is part of one of two tasks we were set to participate in during induction week.

I enjoyed joining in with this activity as i had not really produced an animation using these techniques before, although i had tried others such as paint on glass and drawing, i thought that the whiteboard technique seemed like a creative and interesting way to produce a simple but effective animation.
I particularly liked that once we were given the task it was a chance to use our creativity and bounce around ideas with each of our group members to produce quite random results, which were still really interesting to watch. The idea out of the different animations that i personally liked was the one where the box sort of chiseled down one side of the screen then chisels back up to the other side of the screen. The part of the animation that i drew was the stick man sliding down the tree, the problem i seemed to have with this was that the stick mans head kept changing sizes or his arms and legs would grow longer or shorter, but because the frame length was so short its hardly recognisable.
Overall i enjoyed the activity and it gave me more of an insight on whiteboard animation.
